Meet Dorothy

Real estate agent Dorothy Tangren experiences no greater joy than when helping a client achieve the homeownership they once thought was unattainable. Whether you’re a single parent looking to put down roots for your children, newlyweds starting a new journey together, or current owners looking to upgrade or move, Dorothy loves to tear down common belief barriers and make the impossible possible.

 

Born and raised in Davis, California, Dorothy graduated from California State University, Chico, with a degree in organizational communications and human resource management. She worked for many years in sales and management in the hospitality industry before entering the real estate field. Dorothy pursued her real estate license to enhance her career as a certified transaction coordinator, but she quickly made sales her sole focus after realizing how much she loved helping people buy and sell homes. Almost just as quickly, Dorothy was recognized as the Most Productive Rookie of the Year 2019, and she broke the top ten in closed volume during her first year as an agent.

 

Dorothy credits her capacity to listen to and understand her clients for much of the success she helps them attain. Her sales background has strengthened her ability to tend to their needs and concerns, and she enjoys helping them connect the puzzle pieces of the real estate process and alleviating stressful components. Additionally, Dorothy is a certified probate real estate specialist.

 

Dorothy had lived in Reno and Las Vegas before returning to Davis when her oldest child entered kindergarten. She loves everything about the city and living in Yolo County, including reuniting with old friends. A single parent, she’s very involved in her children’s activities, which include sports, Cub Scouts, and music. She also enjoys both international and domestic travel.
